Katie graduated from Hardin-Simmons University (HSU) with her Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 2015 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2017. She was a Division III soccer player during her undergrad years at HSU, later moving to California after graduating with her doctorate in physical therapy to follow her husband who was listed in the US Navy and stationed in San Diego.
Once she was able to move her family back home in January 2020, Katie joined the ASM team. Her experience as a collegiate soccer player and military daughter/wife help her empathize with the various physical and mental aspects involved with the rehab process. She is most passionate about return to sport rehab with special interest in the neuromuscular and psychological aspects of care. She enjoys her down time being active with her husband, daughter, and 2 fur babies.
